Terms & Conditions

 
IMPORTANT: By enrolling your child at GSAS Academy, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined below. Please read carefully before completing the admission process.

1. ADMISSION TERMS

  • Admission is subject to availability of seats and fulfillment of all admission criteria.
  • The school reserves the right to accept or reject any admission application without assigning any reason.
  • All information provided during admission must be accurate and truthful. False information may lead to cancellation of admission.
  • Original documents must be submitted at the time of admission. The school is not responsible for lost documents.
  • Admission is confirmed only after payment of the required admission fee and security deposit.

2. FEE PAYMENT TERMS

  • All fees must be paid by the 10th of each month through Account Payee crossed cheque/Bank Draft in favor of "Gajadhar Singh Angad Singh Academy".
  • Late payment fine of ₹400/- will be charged after the 10th of the month.
  • Fees not paid by the last date of the month will result in the student's name being struck off from the attendance register.
  • Bounced cheque charges of ₹300/- will be levied on dishonored cheques.
  • The school does not accept cash payments under any circumstances.
  • Online fee payment is available through the GSAS Parent App.
  • All fees are non-refundable once paid, except security deposit which is refundable upon leaving the school after deducting any dues.

3. WITHDRAWAL & TRANSFER CERTIFICATE

  • One month's written notice is required for withdrawal from the school.
  • If proper notice is not given, fees for one additional month will be charged.
  • Students leaving mid-term must pay fees for the entire remaining term.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) fee of ₹800/- is applicable.
  • TC will be issued only after clearance of all pending dues.
  • No dues certificate must be obtained from the library, transport, and accounts department before TC issuance.

4. ACADEMIC SESSION TERMS

  • The academic session runs from July to June (12 months).
  • Fees are payable for all 12 months regardless of holidays or school closures.
  • Students must pay fees for the entire term even if admitted mid-session.
  • Classes held in March, April, and May are free for newly admitted students in 2025.
  • Regular fee payment starts from July 2025 for all students.

5. ATTENDANCE & CONDUCT

  • Minimum 85-90% attendance is mandatory (varies by class level).
  • Students not meeting attendance requirements may be barred from final examinations.
  • Students must adhere to all school policies, rules, and code of conduct.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend or expel students for disciplinary violations.
  • Parents are responsible for their child's behavior both on and off campus.

6. EXAMINATION & PROMOTION

  • Promotion to the next class is based on academic performance and attendance.
  • Students must appear for all scheduled examinations.
  • Board examination fees (ICSE/ISC) are separate and must be paid as per CISCE notifications.
  • The school's decision on promotion/detention is final and binding.
  • Re-examination is granted only in exceptional cases with valid medical certificates.

7. TRANSPORT SERVICES

  • School transport is an optional facility subject to availability and route feasibility.
  • Transport fees are charged for the entire 12-month session.
  • One month's notice is required for discontinuation of transport services.
  • The school is not responsible for any incidents occurring during pick-up/drop-off outside school premises.
  • Students must follow all transport rules and maintain discipline in school vehicles.

8. LIABILITY & INSURANCE

  • The school maintains comprehensive insurance for all students during school hours and school-sponsored activities.
  • Parents must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at the time of admission.
  • The school is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings, cash, or valuables.
  • Parents are responsible for any damage caused by their child to school property.
  • The school will take reasonable care for student safety but is not liable for accidents beyond its control.

9. COMMUNICATION & CONSENT

  • Parents must ensure updated contact information is maintained with the school.
  • The school will communicate through GSAS Parent App, SMS, email, and school diary.
  • Parents consent to the school photographing/videographing students for educational and promotional purposes.
  • Parents consent to emergency medical treatment if required and they cannot be contacted immediately.
  • All circulars and notices sent through the school diary must be acknowledged by parents.

10. MODIFICATION OF TERMS

  • The school reserves the right to modify fees, policies, and terms at any time with prior notice.
  • Fee revisions will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
  • Parents will be informed of policy changes through the GSAS Parent App and official notices.
  • Continued enrollment after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through mutual discussion with school management.
  • If resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be escalated to the school's Board of Governors.
  • The decision of the Board of Governors shall be final and binding.
  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Lucknow courts only.

12. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

  • All personal information provided will be kept confidential and used only for school purposes.
  • The school may share student information with educational boards and government authorities as required by law.
  • Parents have the right to access and update their child's information through the GSAS Parent App.
  • The school will not share student data with third parties without parental consent except as required by law.

I/We have carefully read and understood all the terms and conditions outlined above. I/We agree to abide by all school policies, rules, and regulations. I/We understand that violation of these terms may result in disciplinary action including withdrawal of admission.
